At this time of year, it's great to be able to do so much - run outdoors with my lunchtime running group, then head to the slopes this weekend for some skiing and get a workout in with my daughter. I honestly believe - and science supports it - that when you mix it up and do various activities you are much less likely to get bored in your workouts. My experience? You keep it fun and you keep to it.
