If you've ever wanted to sound off, here's your moment! What would you like to see on Oxygen's website? More training? More videos? More behind the scenes interviews with your favorite fitness gals? Let me know - we're making a few tweaks and would love to know what you'd like to see on our site! All ideas welcome! Talk to you later in the week...
More behind the scenes interviews with the fitness girls would be awesome, but my number one wish would be more training info - like, pre-designed schedules on what body parts to train together... biceps, triceps, core today.... legs tomorrow. That sort of thing. That would be really helpful for newbies.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more training programs onthe site!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a videos with actual demonstrations of training examples.
ReplyDeleteFor those of us without trainers, it would be great to have more complete workout routines on the website -- especially when we need to change up our workouts every few months! Even if they're simply archived routines from past issues, it's easier to scour your site than to flip through past issues.
ReplyDeleteI am a personal trainer and my clients are willing to eat healthier. However, when I tell them to incorporate more fruits and vegestables into their daily diet, they don't know how to enjoy the vegetables. I would like to see more vegetable recipes without any complicated ingredients. Simple receipes that call for simple grocery shopping.
ReplyDeleteSimple recipes & protein shake ideas for the busy, very much on the go, fit Moms!
ReplyDeleteI have been trying for years (at least 7 years now) to reach my fitness goals. I really need a get fit and eat healthy for dummies guide. I have some of Tosco Rena's books, I have the oxygen magazine, I have a gym membership. I exercise and then I get sick or something comes up and then I have a hard time getting back on track. I feel like such a failure. My clothes are tighter again, I'm stressed at work at home and having a hard time sleeping. Ugh. Please help!
ReplyDeleteHow to train and eat if you do want to compet to be a fitness model! I know how to maintain my weight and what to work when but what if we want to kick it up and get on stage how can we do it!
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time getting my eating right. I enjoy sites that allow for personal accounts where you enter your height, weight, goal weight and it helps you form a meal plan. While I like that feature of other magazine websites, I don't like the way they have me eat and would love to see this on Oxygen's website!!
ReplyDeleteI hope that Yoga Tune Up will be featured in your fitness magazine in the future. It is a good at home exercise routine for everyone making your life better everyday.

I am with Audie! There is a difference between knowing what to do, and putting it to practice. I know what to eat(love my Clean Eating mag), but I struggle with not eating the bad stuff. One thing I love in Oxygen is when you feature the daily diet plan of a fitness model. Often times, it's simple and easy to apply immediately!
ReplyDeleteHow about some downloadable, inspirational wallpapers to keep us motivated?
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of the comments here- especially the notes about how they'd love to see more training plans. Often we get little plans for one workout detailed for us, but how do we fit that into a week of workouts? Is it bad to work legs hard one day and run the next? Do we need a rest day in between? How long should we separate hard leg workouts from running? I think its these types of questions that we want answered with a weekly routine. What would be amazing is something where you could put in your goals, and they you could get a plan thats kind of personalized to what your goals are. Thats my ideal, but until then, weekly training scheduales would be so helpful- or maybe articles about how to think through your goals and how to translate them into a weekly/ monthly/ three month plan. I think thats where most of us stumble...
ReplyDeleteI would like more nutrition advices..
